The San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative is seeking a Chief Power Engineering Officer (CPEO). The Chief Power Engineering Officer is a key executive leadership role responsible for the overall strategic direction, planning, design, and reliable operation of the Cooperative's electrical system, while simultaneously identifying, developing, and implementing innovative technologies and business models to ensure long-term competitiveness and value for our members. The CPEO champions a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring all engineering and innovative activities align with the Cooperative's mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements. NOTICE OF JOB OPENING FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN
The San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative has an opening for a full-time Telecommunications Technician. Must have the ability to perform installations, troubleshooting of VoIP telephony and Internet service and repair to residential or business customers, read complex prints and understand fiber optic splicing spreadsheets. Ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors and possess considerable hand-eye coordination and concentration. Possess a basic understanding of Wi-Fi networks including hands on experience with switches, routers, and gateways. Understanding of Ethernet networking including equipment configuration, VLANs, QoS preferred. Ability to work overtime on a rotating call-out schedule.
