Fees

SLVREC charges members fees as outlined below. You may also download a .pdf of this information here. In certain cases, members may also be responsible for deposits. The policy outlining deposits is available here.

NEW SERVICE PROCESSING FEE:

1. All consumers requesting new service will be required to sign the “Agreement for Purchase of Power” and pay a non-refundable New Service Processing Fee of $250.00.

SUBDIVISION/DEVELOPERS STAKING FEE:

1. The developer will pay $1,000.00 in order to begin the process. When the cost of construction quote is determined, the Subdivision Staking Fee will be applied toward the cost of the project.
2. Should the job be cancelled at any time, the cooperative will retain the $1,000.00 to cover the cost of the staking.

VISITATION CHARGES:

1. A minimum charge of $100.00 during business hours and $200.00 after normal hours, or time and mileage whichever is greater, will be applied whenever a cooperative employee is dispatched to a consumer’s service for work outside of the cooperative’s maintenance responsibility.
2. Disconnect/collection charge will be $100.00 during normal business hours.
3. Reconnect charge $100.00 during normal business hours and $200.00 after normal hours.

RETURNED CHECK CHARGE:

1. A returned check charge of $50.00 will be applied to the consumer’s account for each check returned as non-sufficient funds.

DELINQUENCY CHARGE:

1. A delinquency charge of $45.00 will be applied to all accounts who have not paid the past due amount by the date on the disconnect notice and are therefore subject to disconnection.
