Irrigators: Call in name changes now!

To ensure your electric bills are correct, call to tell SLVREC about any account changes on your irrigation accounts before the end of the first week in March. SLVREC allows irrigators one free billing adjustment if the adjustment is requested before the second billing in the season and if no money has been applied to the bill. After a bill has been paid, you can still make name changes; but, you will be responsible for working out the finances between who should have paid and who did pay.

Additionally, horsepower minimums are billed in April, so it’s important to notify the cooperative before billing season if you made pump changes. When you call, have your meter number handy. It’s on the meter and it’s on your bills. You’ll also need the name, address, and phone number of the individual or farm to be billed.
